Our commitment

Styles Barber Lounge is committed to making our website and our shops accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time project.

What we do on this site

  • Semantic HTML structure with a logical heading order and landmark regions.
  • Keyboard operability for interactive elements, with visible focus styles.
  • Descriptive labels on buttons, links, and dialogs for assistive technology.
  • Respect for the "reduce motion" system preference: animations and background video are replaced with static content for users who prefer reduced motion.
  • Color contrast chosen to meet WCAG AA on text and interactive elements.
  • Alternative text on informative images; decorative media is hidden from screen readers.

Known limitations

Parts of the Site use cinematic video and 3D effects. These are decorative and are not required to reach any information or to book an appointment; all essential content (services, prices, hours, locations, and booking links) is available as regular text. Online booking is provided by Squire, a third-party platform whose accessibility we do not control. If you have difficulty booking online, call us and we will book your appointment by phone.
